Back in 1990, my Mom and Aunt attended a charity luncheon held by the Chicago Blackhawks. Some retired Hawks' greats were in attendance.

My Mom got this fan club newsletter--called the Standby Wigwam--autographed by Stan Mikita and Keith Manguson. "Maggie" signed the front and "Stosh" signed the back.

Magnuson personalized his signature "To Barry Best Wishes" and added #3. Barry is my last name. Magnusson asked my Mom who to make the signature out to, so maybe my Mom wanted the 'graph to be for the both of us, since we both have the last name.

Mikita signed his name but did not personalize. I asked my Mom why she did not get it personalized, and she told me it was because Mikita didn't say anything--he just signed.

I got this signed newsletter when I was a kid. At the time, I did not have many autographs, and it was great to get signatures from two retired Blackhawks legends.
