Defenseman Ryan Stanton was not drafted by any NHL team. The Chicago Blackhawks, must have been impressed by his last year in the WHL--where he scored 40 points in 59 games--because they signed him to an entry-level contract.

Stanton has since played 2 seasons in the AHL, scoring 17 points in each campaign.
