Retired player. Currently the Director of Player Development for the Vancouver Canucks.

Dave Gagner played in the NHL from 1984 to 1999. He is best known for his tenure with the Minnesota North Stars / Dallas Stars franchise. Gagner also played for the New York Rangers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Calgary Flames, Florida Panthers and Vancouver Canucks.

Gagner scored 318 goals and 401 assists for a total of 719 points in 946 NHL games. His son, Sam Gagner, is currently with the Edmonton Oilers.
