Dan ClearyCurrently with the Detroit Red Wings.
Autographed card purchased at a card shop on September 21, 2012.
Dan Cleary has played 13 seasons in the NHL thus far--the last 7 with the Detroit Red Wings, where he has been a solid contributor. He was originally drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks, who picked him 13th overall in 1997.
I can't seem to find this card in the Beckett Hockey Online Price Guide. It is a signed insert card made by Signature Rookies during the 1995-96 season. Specifically, it is some sort of subset called "World Force." I am not so sure about the theme--it isn't an international set so I don't get the whole globe thing--but I do like the overall look of the card.
Here, Cleary is pictured with the Belleville Bulls (OHL), his junior team. The card is signed in blue Sharpie marker and was limited to 2000 copies.
