Philippe Paradis was the first round pick of the Carolina Hurricanes (27th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. He has since been traded twice--first to the Toronto Maple Leafs, then to the Chicago Blackhawks. He has yet to get a shot in the NHL. In his first full professional season, spent in the AHL with Rockford, Paradis scored 5 goals and 11 assists in 58 games.
