David Gilbert was the 7th round pick of the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. He has since spent two more seasons in juniors, followed by one season split between the AHL and the ECHL.

I bought a bunch of autographed cards directly from the Rockford Icehogs (thank you Julie!). They were all signed in black Sharpie marker--which looks great when the player is wearing white, but is hard to see when the player is wearing black. Nonetheless, it was great to score a bunch of autographs straight from the source.
