Pro Set issued cards from the '91 All-Star Game in their 1991-92 Series One set. Below are 22 cards that I got autographed over the past two decades.
BONUS: Attending the game was then-future prospect Eric Lindros. I saw him in the hallway at Chicago Stadium during an intermission, and asked him to sign the back of my ticket stub.

nice. That Vernon is a tuff one. He does not like to sign. Very high on himself.
His brother on the other hand is a cool guy to talk to.
Great cards, those were the days when fans and players actually appreciated and enjoyed the all-star game.
Was Lindros nice when he signed, or did he rush it?
The Vernon is a very tough auto to obtain!
I wrote to Vernon in the mid-1990s. I think right during the start of his tenure with the Red Wings.
Lindros was crowded by a bunch of people. He was quick with the autographs, but seemed very attentive to make sure everyone got one. He knew why people were coming up to him. As a kid, I was excited to have an autograph from the NHL's next #1 draft pick.
I got a couple cards signed by Vernon with Calgary at the end of his career. Not thrilled to sign, but certainly not among the worst. The funny thing about Vernon was while he signed he studied people's shoes. A couple guys got denied when he remembered their shoes.
I remember wondering if anyone ever changed their shoes during the day to get him a second time at gametime (he never looked at faces).I also got him through the mail with Calgary in the early 90's.
Vernon looked at shoes because he is short :)
