Ab McDonald was a member of the Chicago Blackhaws for four seasons, playing on the famed "Scooter Line". The original journeyman, Ab played for the Montreal Canadiens, Chicago Blackhawks, Boston Bruins, Detroit Red Wings (twice), Pittsburgh Penguins and St. Louis Blues. He was the first player to have played for six different NHL teams. He also played two seasons for the Winnipeg Jets of the WHA.
