Every dog has his day, so I was glad to see Brind'Amour captain the Carolina Hurricanes to the Stanley Cup in 2006. He's been in the league a long time, and you love to see a guy like that finally win a Cup.
I remember wayyyyyy back in 1989, when Inside Hockey magazine had an article, "25 People to Know", and Brind'Amour was one of these noteworthy players. This was right before he made his debut in the '89 playoffs with St. Louis. Since then, I've been a fan of his.
